Alexandra Alexandrovna Mitroshina (Russian: Александра Александровна Митрошина, born 27 June 1994) is a Russian public figure, writer, journalist, radio host and blogger. She is known also as the feminism activist and #ЯНеХотелаУмирать movement founder and supporter.. Support Russian military intervention in Ukraine and was forbidden to enter Ukraine till 2023.
Biography
Her parents are former aviation engineers: her father is a programmer, her mother is a real estate agent. According to Alexandra’s words, she grew in “really cool conditions” and was persuaded that she was capable of anything. She graduated from the Moscow High School No. 1080, the MSU Faculty of Journalism (2015) and the Higher School of Economics Faculty of Communications, Media and Design (2017, Master of Mediaproduction in Creative Industries). Her journalist career began in a local newspaper in 2010, also Alexandra was a karate coach for kids. Since 2014 she has been publishing reviews on the latest gadgets at Mail.Ru (section Hi-Tech), 4PDA.ru and many other sites. From 2015 to 2017 she was a producer and presenter of radio show “City Automobility” at Moskva FM radio station.
As a blogger, Mitroshina appeared in 2016 in Instagram, reached 300,000 subscribers at the end of 2017 and 800,000 at the end of 2018. She gives lectures on mass media communications, blogging principles (Instalogy project) and fitness. In 2019 her book, Private Instagram blogs promotion: step-by-step manual (Продвижение личных блогов в Инстаграм: пошаговое руководство) was published and received positive feedback. Initially being non-political blogger, Alexandra launched #ЯНеХотелаУмирать flashmob to support women’s protests against home violence decriminalization.
