Creed II is a 2018 American sports drama directed by Steven Caple Jr and written by Sylvester Stallone and Juel Taylor from a story by Sascha Penn and Cheo Hodari Coker. A sequel to 2015's Creed and the eighth installment in the Rocky series, starring Michael B. Jordan, Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Dolph Lundgren, Florian Munteanu, Wood Harris, and Phylicia Rashad. Creed writer and director Ryan Coogler is the film's executive producer. The film tells the story of a fight that spans more than 33 years, when Donnie Creed meets a new opponent in the ring: Viktor Drago, son of Ivan Drago, the powerful athlete who took the life of Donnie's father, Apollo Creed, in 1985's Rocky IV A Creed sequel was confirmed in January 2016, but due to Coogler and Jordan's participation in Black Panther, the film was delayed, eventually Coogler was replaced by Caple.
Boxer and actor known as"Big Nasty" who participated as a heavyweight in Super Kombat and served as the league's ambassador. It was announced in 2018 that he would play Viktor Drago, Ivan Drago's son, in the Creed sequel (2015).
