Hawthorne Heights, formerly A Day in the Life, is an American rock band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2001. Their lineup now includes JT Woodruff, Matt Ridenour, Mark McMillon and Chris Popadak. . On November 24, 2007, rhythm guitarist and accompanist Casey Calvert passed away, leaving the group as a quartet. In June 2014, the departure of original drummer Eron Bucciarelli was announced. On January 20, 2015, it was announced that Micah Carli had also left the group. The group achieved success with their first two albums released in 2004, The Silence in Black and White, and the 2006 album, If Only You Were Lonely, both received Gold certification. Their second album also peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and number 3 on the Billboard 200. They are also famous for their 2006 single "Say Sorry", which peaked at Gold and reached 7th place on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks Chart.
Singer, guitarist and keyboardist most famous as the frontman of the American post-hardcore band Hawthorne Heights. Field Medicine, his debut solo album, was released in March 2014.
