Karen Robinson is an Anglo-Canadian film, television and theater actress who won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Performance as a cameo in a TV series at the Ceremony awarded the 7th Canadian screen in 2019 for appearing in the Mary Kills People television series. Born in London, England and raised in Jamaica, Robinson moved to Drumheller, Alberta with his family as a teenager. She has been active in the arts as a child, including singing in the choir, performing in school plays and reciting poetry at readings, and studying media and drama at Mount Royal College since Calgary before beginning to work as a professional actress in the early 1990s.
