Dennis Chukude Osadebay is a defunct Nigerian politician, poet, journalist and former prime minister of the now defunct western central Nigeria region, which now includes Edo and the State of Delta. He was one of the pioneering Nigerian poets writing in English. As a politician, he dislikes party politics and tries to give unbiased opinions on important issues of the time. He was also a leader in the movement to create a Midwestern region during Nigeria's First Republic.
