Dev09 is yet another talent bubbling within the SoundCloud sphere, which we expect will soon trickle over into the blogosphere. I actually connected with her the other month, when I first came across this song on SoundCloud. We owe a lot to producer Stelios Phili for this record-- not only for the cool production, but for making the initial Dev09 discovery through a cover she did on SoundCloud. From there, a partnership formed. The two have more in the works, but for now, "You Made Me" serves as your proper introduction.
Back to the singer at hand-- she's 18 years old, in her Freshmen year of university. She resides in South Bend, Indiana. Not the most exciting town (according to Dev herself), but one she gives us a glimpse at within the "You Made Me" visuals. Take a look above, from the skating rink to the Fun Tan store front, looks like boatloads of fun.
