On March 25, 2022, Police got a call from East Meadow about a domestic disturbance. The report turned with two people stabbed and an 18-month-old hurt.
As per the reports from the police, they got the call to a home on Cooper Drive in East Meadow around 6:30 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man and a woman, both with stab wounds.
Meanwhile, the baby had wounds on her arm and head. Both husband and wife were found in critical condition. On the other hand, the little girl was in a stable condition with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Chris Alvarado is an East Meadow man who is facing charges in the stabbing of his wife and child. He is accused of stabbing his spouse in their Cooper Drive home.
At the time, she was holding their 18-months old baby girl. As per News 12 Westchester, Police reported that he stabbed himself in an attempt at suicide.
Followingly, the detectives reported that they have released the baby to the family after the treatment. On the other hand, the mother who has sustained serious physical injuries is currently in stable condition.
The Nassau District Attorney’s Office mentioned that he is facing charges for two counts of second-degree attempted murder and endangering the welfare of a child.
At the moment, he is still in the hospital midst his treatment and has received a bedside arraignment.
