David Drew Pinsky, better known as Dr Drew, is an American media figure, internal medicine physician, and addiction specialist. He hosted the national synthesis radio show Loveline from its inception in 1984 until its completion in 2016. On television, he hosted Dr. Drew On Call on HLN and the daytime series Lifechangers on The CW. In addition, he is also a producer and starred in VH1 Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, and his appendix is Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, Celebrity Rehab presents Sober House. Pinsky currently hosts a number of podcasts, including The Dr. Drew Podcast, This Life with Dr. Drew, Dr. Drew After Dark in Your Mom's House and The Adam and Drew Show with former Loveline co-host Adam. Carolla. Pinsky is a former employee of the Department of Chemical Addiction Services at Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., And Huntington Memorial Hospital. He currently maintains a private lingerie practice in South Pasadena.
