Ekow Blankson, a veteran actor and the Commercial Manager of the well-known online news portal Ghanaweb is dead.
The news was announced on Multimedia’s Hitz FM’s Twitter page on October 3, 2022, but his cause of death was not revealed.
Ekow Blankson also worked on school projects, one of which was a Lords Production of GH School’s production in which he worked on a movie titled Breath Vengeance and was nominated for Best Adult Male Role in their awards scheme, the GH Student’s Movie Awards.
Ekow Blankson graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon, with a Masters’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Drama).
He also has a marketing certificate from Amsterdam’s Heineken Global Commerce University.
Ekow has held positions as Managing Director, Director of Brands and Corporate Communications, and General Manager (Luv FM and Nhyira FM) with media companies such as TV Africa, Media General Ghana Limited, and Multimedia Broadcasting Company.
