Harry LaRosiliere is a Haitian-American businessman and politician who currently serves as the mayor of Plano, Texas. He was born on May 6, 1962 in Haiti and moved to the United States at the age of seven. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and a Master of Public Affairs degree. LaRosiliere began his career in public service in the early 1990s, working as a legislative aide in the Texas House of Representatives. He then served as a senior policy advisor to the Texas Secretary of State and as a senior advisor to the Texas Attorney General. In 2009, LaRosiliere was elected to the Plano City Council, where he served for four years. In 2013, he was elected mayor of Plano, becoming the first African-American mayor in the city's history. LaRosiliere is married to his wife, Dr. Yolanda LaRosiliere, and they have two children. He is 58 years old.

LaRosiliere moved to Texas in 1994 and became a financial advisor. He served two terms on the Plano City Council from 2005 to 2011, and was the former planning and zoning commissioner. In the election, he went up against Fred Moses, the Collin County Republican Party Chairman. He successfully ran for re-election in the 2017 elections.
He was born in Haiti and grew up in Harlem. In New York City, he attended Corpus Christi Catholic School, Cardinal Hayes High School and graduated from the City College of New York in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology.
