In 1967, she joined Garden McKay’s national company of “Any Wednesday,” where she garnered fame as a Pigeon sister alongside Don Rickles and Ernest Borgnine in a LA run of “The Odd Couple.” She went on to star in other Broadway plays with Ted Bessell, including “Same Time, Next Year,” “The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” and “Mame,” with Susan Hayward and later Celeste Holm.
