Also, she made a contribution to the 2018 movie Jane Fonda in Five Acts, which honored the accomplishments of the actress.

She and another person co-founded MayDay Media, a nonprofit production company. In a 2019 interview, she credited her father for inspiring her to pursue a career in filmmaking and that she had always felt “very natural” while filming.

Vanessa, though, is interested in more than just movies. She writes for Treehugger, a website that was once known as The Mother Nature Network, and advocates sustainability like her mother.

Although Vanessa keeps a very private existence, it is known that she and her husband, guitarist Paul Van Waggoner of Between the Buried and Me, have two children.

Mary Luana Williams

Jane and Tom adopted Mary Luana Williams when she was 14 years old, prior to their divorce. According to Oprah.com, she was raised in poverty and a drug-filled atmosphere as the daughter of two Black Panther Party members.

Like her siblings, Mary decided against pursuing a career in performing or filmmaking. She is truly an activist who has worked closely with the Lost Boys of Sudan, as described in the summary of her 2013 book The Lost Daughter.

Despite the attention he has received, he admitted in 2016 that his initial reluctance to pursue acting was brought on by the fact that he is Jane’s son.

Although Troy and Simone Bent have been wed since 2007, they are not parents.
