During the negotiations, Jerry Buss made 750 million, and two Rolls Royces would make Tarkanian sign the deal with Lakers, but everything went downhill when his friend Vic was found murdered.

After meeting with Jerry Buss, he drove away in his Rolls-Royce from the hotel in Beverly Hills, California. He was heading to have dinner with his wife, but he didn’t arrive at home.
Due to his missing, his wife reported to the police and found his car parked in a hotel in North Hollywood. On investigating the car, his body was found in a decomposing state in the car’s trunk. There was a gunshot to the rear of his skull and temple.
