Kenneth S. Hitchcock (born December 17, 1951), better known by his nickname “Hitch,” is an NHL hockey coach and pro scout who is presently coaching the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. Additionally, he has served as the head coach of the NHL teams the Dallas Stars, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Columbus Blue Jackets, among others. In 1999, he guided the Stars to their first Stanley Cup triumph. In addition, he worked as an assistant coach for the Canadian Olympic Hockey Team at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
