Takumi Kawahara is a Japanese producer, businessman and CEO of KonMari Media Inc. He was born in July 1984 in Osaka, Japan.
Takumi and Marie met when they were both 21 years old. They met outside of a speaking event in Tokyo. They first became friends and they nurtured their friendship into a romantic relationship which led to marriage in 2012.
Takumi first worked in Osaka in marketing and sales support. He also worked with his wife as her manager and he later became the CEO of Kon Mari Media, LLC. After the marriage, they lived in Tokyo for some time. They then moved from Japan to San Francisco, Calif.
