Tyus Dwayne Edney (born February 14, 1973) is a former professional basketball player who hails from the United States. Edney was a point guard for the UCLA Bruins from 1991 to 1995, and he was instrumental in the team’s NCAA National Championship victory in 1995. In addition, he guided Algiris Kaunas to the Euroleague championship in 1999. Edney is the Director of Basketball Operations for the UCLA men’s basketball team. He has been with the club since 2001. Edney’s height and weight were recorded as 1.78 m (5’10”) and 88 kg (195 lbs). One of the most memorable plays in NCAA Tournament history is his game-winning shot for UCLA in the 2nd Round of the 1995 NCAA Men’s Championship, which is regarded to be one of the best ever.
