On that unfateful day, 27-year-old, Shaheim Carr was walking towards his car from his home. Suddenly, a vehicle containing four armed assailants started firing at him.
Brown is confirmed to be one of the four shooters from that day. The York City Police Department has released an official statement on his arrest as of July 11.

Brown, the confirmed York shooting suspect wore a black Adidas tracksuit during the incident. Per the footage retrieved by the police, they have found out that he had paused for a reload to shoot at Carr.
Fox 43 reports that after the shooting, he is seen carrying a black backpack that police believe was the one Carr was carrying.
Carr was on his way to his car while carrying a black bag. He was attacked on his short way towards the car from his home door.

Jaquez Brown And His Partners Killed Shaheim Carr On July 6
Jaquez Brown and three of his partners killed Shahei Carr on July 6 in front of his house. The group of four then took away the late Carr’s phone and bag after they were done killing him.
However, this case is still under investigation as the other three shooters are still at large. The police have yet to dig deep into the group’s motive behind ganging up and killing a lone man.
Brown was turned over to York County Central Booking for arraignment and is now remanded to York County Prison.
