Fans may have been excited about the Jersey Shore reunion at Deena Cortese’s wedding on Oct. 28, but MTV is hoping they'll become invested in a new group of housemates on the upcoming spin-off, Floribama Shore. The series is coming to the network on Nov. 27, but relocates the action from Jersey to Panama City Beach, FL. The GTL-infused summer fun is still in full force, though, with eight Floribama Shore cast members, including Kortni Gilson.
Since the 21-year-old shows up a number of times in the full season trailer, we decided to get to know her a little better. Read on for everything you need to know about the soon-to-be reality star!
Where is Kortni from?
She and co-star Nilsa Prowant are the two locals on the cast — they both hail from Panama City Beach. Kortni even stayed nearby after high school, attending the city’s own Gulf Coast State College.
What does Kortni do for a job?
As of spring 2017, Kortni was still working as a bartender at the nearby Coyote Ugly. And yes, that means she was dancing on the bar in cut-off shorts, just like Piper Perabo and the gang in the 2000 movie of the same name.
Does Kortni have a boyfriend?
Kortni certainly seems single, as she mostly posts photos of herself with her family — especially her mom and sister — and her female friends. Hey, it’s better to go into the summer unattached, right?
What are some of her other hobbies and talents?
Kortni does dance on bars for a living, so you better believe she has rhythm. In fact, she’s a pretty impressive hooper — a type of dancing with a hula hoop. She also regularly models for the Me Clothing line.
